Radio 200 was a 1950s station ran by Tony Boylan from his home in Rathmines, just outside Dublin’s city centre. Tony had been running The Killeen Home Service since 1944 and with an increase of power to a radius of around 12 miles came the new name – and some unwanted attention from the authorities. Tony closed the station voluntarily but came back with a new name – Radio Laxy – and a new frequency.
