WKLR (West Kimmage Local Radio) was a Dublin-based pirate station which broadcast in 1982. It first appeared in July on 1234kHz broadcasting during night hours only but weren’t on long before they went off again. They spent the rest of the year on and off on test, and after a long period they returned on December 2nd . The station was based in the Kimmage area of the city.
