
Westside Radio commenced broadcasting in Sligo town on November 15th 1986 on 97.5MHz.
Operated by Richard Duignan, the station played mainly country and western, along with a small amount of popular music, mainly of an MoR persuasion. At launch, broadcast hours were 9am-6pm.
They changed name to Westside Community Radio in April 1987.
It closed in December 1988.
