WABC RADIO

WABC Radio was a Donegal station which launched on September 15th 1987. As such it was one of the younger stations forced to close with the new legislation of 1988. WABC Radio was one of the success stories of 1988. It had a definitive no country music policy!

Last record on the station for the 1988 Closedown was “We’ll Meet Again”
First and last voice (88 Closedown) on the station was Paul Bentley
