Arriving on air in February 2000, Vibe FM was a student radio station serving the staff and students of WIT (Waterford Institute of Technology). It was operated by around 40 volunteers and two paid staff. The station broadcast a mixture of speech and music from 12-2pm and from 5-9pm Mondays-Fridays.
