Scotshouse Local Radio was an early 1970s pirate station which was based in the small village of Scotshouse in Clones, near the border in Co Monaghan.
Equipment for the station was supplied by Jim Smith who would later run Treble TR in Dublin. The studio was located in a caravan which was eventually towed away by the Gardaí when it moved to the top of a hill in an attempt to get better coverage.
