RAIDIÓ NA PHOBAIL

Raidió na Phobail was a Dublin station which appeared in October 1979 broadcasting in the Irish language from Harcourt Street. Plagued by technical difficulties it ceased broadcasting in the summer of 1981.

The station was set up by Conradh na Gaeilge as a protest against a lack of Irish language programming from the state broadcaster.
