RADIO SAOIRSE

Radio Saoirse was a short-lived Belfast political pirate radio station which broadcast Nationalist propaganda on 246m.
It first appeared in August 1971 and on August 11th, with British troops ordered to find and close the station, the IRA shot dead three of their men.
