Radio Jacqueline

Radio Jacqueline broadcast to Dublin from 1966 to 1973, also under the names Channel 70 and Radio Cleo.

During the Christmas holidays in 1967 The Irish Times reported that the station was run by schoolboys on the southside. They broadcast pop music with greetings sent out to fellow school friends.

The Department of Posts and Telegraphs told the newspaper that the broadcasts could interfere with licensed services and that they would be tracked down.
