Phoenix Festival Radio operates under a temporary radio licence for two weeks each August. The station has been on air since 2001. In 2002, 2003 & 2004, it was helped out with facilities and equipment by the local full-time licensed station Midlands 103FM. The station is staffed by volunteers.
