Mid 90s Dublin dance station Hot 107FM was run by Gary Cruze and Andy Preston and was based in Andy’s garden shed.
After Andy moved to FM104 in December 1995, his premises could no longer be used. The station was sold out to Glenn Kelly and after a few weeks silence ‘The New Hot 107’ returned to be managed by Tracy Lee and broadcast from her house in Walkinstown for about three months.
Other now well-known names included Barry Dunne.
It eventually closed down fearing a raid by the authorities.
It relaunched as Mix 106FM.
