Heed FM was a temporary licensed station which ran for 30 days from October 22nd to November 18th 2016 on 94.3MHz FM in the Dublin area. It was also available online and on DAB in Dublin and Cork.
The station was operated by Garrett Phelan and was conceptual in nature with the FM broadcasts being just one part of a bigger project. It was designed to give young people a voice and was a constant stream of conversation uninterrupted by music, adverts, news, weather, timechecks or conventional presenters.
It considered itself as “…talk radio for the anti-snowflake generation – Heed FM is a radio station that is also an artwork.”
