Glencoe Radio first appeared as Westside Radio in 1987. It changed name to Glencoe Radio later in the year due to another Westside Radio operating in Sligo. Based in a library in Mountcharles they broadcast on 1125kHz using the ex Melvyn Community Radio rig. They lasted until the 1988 closedowns in December.
