Dance music station Galaxy FM broadcast on 105.3MHz FM in the Greater Dublin area. The station broadcast a weak signal which was previously available on 87.6FM, then 88.0FM, before making a settled home on 95.8FM.
Galaxy broadcast at night only and following ComReg raids in Dublin in July 2004, went through a confusing period – announcing their closure only to be back on within hours, and also identifying at times as 105FM.
They finally did relaunch as Passion FM in mid-August 2004.
