Free Thought FM was a temporary licensed station which ran for 30 days from March 25th to April 23rd 2019 on 105.2MHz in the Dublin area. It was also available online.
The station ran as part of an art gallery exhibition in Trinity College launched by Garrett Phelan. The broadcasts came from the Douglas Hyde Gallery and involved invited ‘free-thinkers’ and interviews with members of the public. The idea behind the project was to talk about ‘free thought’ and to explore class inequality in the Dublin area, particularly in relation to college access.
