Chill FM started testing on March 20th 2002, with an automated launch in May. The station secured a mountain site in December 2002. Chill FM were taken off the air during the ‘Black Tuesday’ raids, returning a couple of months later on very low power. Playing non-stop dance & trance music, Chill FM was available in Dublin city centre and surrounding areas.
