Hometown Radio
Hometown Radio was launched in April 1985 on Easter Sunday at 11am by Tommy Toal (known as Fat Sam) following a breakaway from Big M.

It was based on Main Street, Castleblayney in Monaghan. Frequencies were 981kHz and 98.6MHz.
It was a family run service that was off air a lot. It closed at the end of 1988 in line with new legislation.
