FM100

FM100 appeared in the summer of 1989.

It was run by Lawrence John, from the late Frank McCarthy’s K.I.T.S. (Kiss Intelligence Transfer Sequencer) studios, in Monaghan town.

FM 100 was used to run the Campaign for Music radio, after the BCR licence fiasco in Belfast. FM 100 used Miles Johnstone’s B-96 studios in Belfast initially.

Large black posters, with a simple “FM100” were fly posted around Belfast, but the signal was never strong enough for a Belfast listener.
