Launched as Easy 105 in September 2001 from Dublin's southside urban area of Tallaght on very low power due to financial restraints, Easy Radio, as the name suggests, play easy-listening music catering for an audience they believe is not being catered for on FM.

In late 2001, they suffered a major setback when their studio and transmitter site was destroyed by fire and it would be a while before the station made it back on-air.

By 2003 Easy Radio was back on 105.7MHz, just in time for the infamous Black Tuesday raids in May. They decided to remain off the FM band and focus on webcasting instead.

In 2012 they decided to go back on to FM, this time with a new high power transmitter located at a site on Dublin’s Saggart Mountain giving Easy Radio citywide coverage of Dublin.

Following another prolonged period off FM, the station returned in 2018, reimagined with a love songs format. The station eventually settled into full time broadcasting on 105.2MHz FM.

In 2020 they applied for, and were awarded, a 30 day temporary licence to broadcast on 88.1MHz FM. They chose to split this into 15 weekends which ran from April - July 2021. The station line-up read like a who's-who of pirate and temporary licensed stations of the previous 20 odd years.

A second licence saw them return in August 2022 on 105.2MHz only for it to end abruptly.

It is presently running online.
