KLAS

K.L.A.S. launched to Dublin as Class Radio in November 1986 on 98.5MHz and proved surprisingly popular, considering it played mainly classical music. Uniquely for the time but perhaps sensibly given the musical output, KLAS was an FM only station, 98.5MHz was the frequency for Dublin and there was also a relay for Wicklow on 94.8MHz.
