Capital Radio Cork

Capital Radio broadcast on 227metres in the late ’70s. It was located in Cork’s city centre on Tuckey Street. It first appeared in February 1979 with aims of being a true community station for Cork, rather than a commercial enterprise. It had gone by the early ’80s.
